Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data ProxyRDP.com collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than in legal boilerplate.
Who we are
ProxyRDP.com is the data controller for the information described here. Our postal address is 69 Glen Rd APT 2E, Eastchester, NY 10709, United States. You can reach us about any privacy matter at [email protected].
What we collect
- Account data — name, email address, and optionally a company name, provided when you register or place an order.
- Billing data — invoices, amounts and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processors and never reach our servers.
- Service data — which services you have, in which region, and their configuration.
- Support data — the content of tickets, emails and chat conversations.
- Technical logs — connection metadata required to operate and secure the network, such as authentication events and aggregate bandwidth counters.
What we do not collect
We do not inspect, record or store the contents of your traffic. We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we do not run third-party advertising or behavioural tracking on this website.
Why we process it
- To provide the service you have purchased (performance of a contract).
- To take payment and meet accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- To secure the network and investigate abuse (legitimate interest).
- To send service notices about changes that affect your subscription (legitimate interest).
- To send occasional product updates, where you have subscribed (consent — withdrawable at any time).
How long we keep it
Account and billing records are retained for seven years to meet accounting and tax requirements. Support tickets are retained for two years. Technical logs are retained for 30 days unless they form part of an active abuse investigation. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
Only with processors necessary to run the business: our payment providers, our email delivery provider, and the datacentre operators hosting your service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We disclose data to authorities only where we are legally compelled to do so, and we will tell you unless prohibited from doing so.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.
International transfers
We operate infrastructure in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. Where personal data moves between these regions, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required.
Security
Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication and logged. Data is encrypted in transit, and backups are encrypted at rest. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.
Changes
Material changes to this policy are announced on our news update page and, where they affect you directly, by email.
